March concerts are a good example, as they were exceptionally well accepted by the audience. They are currently promoting their second DVD, recorded during a concert in the Wyspiański Theatre. Believe’s albums are also sold in Europe and the USA. Orbita Wiru was founded in 2000 by Tom Serwatko, formerly associated with the rock band Kairos. Orbita Wiru’s music is a rock explosion, generated by the three men drawimg from different regions of the music spectrum. "The orbit of the vortex plays like a machine, it’s a terrible force ..." – said polish rock legend Zbigniew Hołdys during a TV show Hit Generator (TVP 2), in which the team was honored with a statue of Super hit song for “Moja mała furia”(My little tantrum). AmetriA and NOKO on Ursynalia!
Two Polish bands and Noko and AmetriA, join the main stage lineup of Ursynalia 2012. AmetriA is one of the most popular metal bands in Poland. It is present on the Polish music scene since 1993. They have released three studio discs, out of which two were nominated for the "Fryderyk" award. The album "Piatek3nastego" in 2005 in the category METAL, alongside bands such as TSA, Acid Drinkers, Vader and Behemoth, and the album "New Day" in 2010, in "Heavy Metal." Their track “Hiszpański Hicior” has been the No.1 single of Radio 94 (Antyradio) for eight weeks, and was a single that long remained at the forefront of the list in 2004. Now the band is finishing work on their new album, which will be released later this year. A single promoting the album is the song "Zbrodnia", to which a music video is created. Noko was created in late 2004 and 2005. Despite their short touring experience they already have some successes under their belt, such as a tour of England, completed in October 2008. The young band showed their potential at clubs such as: Tommy Flynns, Fiddlers Elbow, Hope and Anchor and The Albany. They were also invited to the concert by the band Coma. A big success was their performance at the Jarocin Festival in 2011 where the band won the coveted Audience Award - The Gold Chameleon. For 5 weeks their song "Bad Thoughts" stayed athe top of the TurboTop the Antyradio chart. "What is interesting about Noko? Their music is a combination of grunge, heavy metal and nu metal. Out of each Noko took the best: from grunge the rebellious soul, from heavy metal and nu the energy and characteristic melody. Each of their songs has “concert power”, and simply cannot be ignored.
Oedipus returns to Ursynalia!
Oedipus, the three vivacious musicians from the USA, will play again this year during a Ursynalia. This alternative trio from Los Angeles, was founded in 1997 by the singer/bassist Jeremy Haffner and guitarist Stephen Cohen. The band’s main goal was breaking the conventions of music and combining heavy guitar sounds with melody. How does Oedipus sound live? Even more wildly and unpredictably than you would expect. Their music does not get boring because they do not confine themselves to one style, and they derive their inspiration from - as they admit - acts such as Tool, Muse, Coheed And Cambria and System of a Down. The group name refers to the ancient trilogy of Sophocles. On march 13, 2012, literally a few weeks ago, the band released their another studio album entitled "Vicious Little Smile".

Their first album "Nastukafszy’s” success is one which can only be a contractor’s dream nowadays. Without any promotion, they sold over 50 thousand copies. Their debut was the most spectacular success in the history of Polish Hip-Hop. Their latest, third studio album was released June last year. WFD’s frontman, TNA, and Numer Raz, are without doubt the most influential rappers in Poland. On 2012’s Ursynalia they are going to play at the open stage.
